What I like

Topics with some – not that much though – expertise, yet providing peace and contemplation:

Gemstones

Need to have them, touch them, admire, sometimes convert into jeweks for my beloved. See some examples

Flowers & trees

Mainly everything but but roses and orchids (but wild species). Love and seed many wild flowers when possible. Also iris, lillies, eremurus, see some example here from my garden, maimly from seeds;

Trees are so important to me. Forests too. I love deserts, mainly US deserts yet missing trees dramatically. Some beloved trees here.

  • Acacia
  • Oaks
  • Gleditsia triacanthos & ‘Rubylace’
  • Chestnut
  • tulipwood
  • beech
  • cedrus atlantica
  • cedrus libani
  • Paulownia tomentosa
Laughing and laughing with friends

Probably some of the most intense moments in my life, I have/had friends who were so incrediblky funny!

Art

Everybody likes art, no big deal. I am eclectic yet very selective, by ignorance mainly, by lazyness probably.

Music
  • Classical Music, mainly operas, symphonias, Second Viennese School .Mahler, Debussy, Gounod, Purcell.
  • Rock, mainly rock, essentially rock, hard rock, metal, punk-rock.
  • Blues rather than jazz
  • French singers, Brassens, Féré, Brel a lot, or Leonard Coehn
  • Rap not that much, electro …pleasant.
Painting

Nothing (but Jerome Bosch and Paleo-art) prior to 1880’s, what I like dates mainly after neo-impressionism. Hate name dropping yet my Hall of Fame comprises Malevitch-Rozanova, Braque, Dubuffet, Richter, Pollock, Duchamp, Beuys, Rothko. Plus many others. Can spend days in Museums, so many facinating things everyday.

Plays

Very ignorant in the matter, love Ionesco, Beckett, other than that kind of lost.

Dance, musical plays, performances

Ouch, worst thing ever for me …

Literature

So many, so so many, so ignorant, only can scratch the surface. Can drawn in universes. Those who counted most:: London, Curwood, Kervouac, Beckett, Sand, Malraux, Steinbeck, Breton, Gide, St John Perse, Leothaud, Wilde, Genet, Nietsche, Bergson, Engels/Marx, Kafka, Faulkner, Poe … just to give a blink. Just realized just one woman…. baaad.

Design/architecture

Pleasant most of them, mainly Hunderwasser. Rather oooh cool, nice impressive tpe o reaction than emotion or mind blowing.
